Featuring our signature unpeated double distilled whisky making style, with an initial maturation of 3 years and 10 months in first fill ex-bourbon casks and a secondary maturation of 2 years and 10 months in ruby port hogsheads, this six year old expression boasts fruity notes of summer berries, dark cherries and rich vanilla.

A bridge between our Glasgow 1770 Signature Range and our ongoing Small Batch Series, Glasgow 1770 Ruby Port Cask Finish was created in response to the popularity of our previous sold-out limited bottling featuring our unpeated whisky making style finished in ruby port casks.

This is the first bottling in a new series of releases that showcase a style of cask maturation we have found works perfectly with one of the whisky creation styles we produce here at The Glasgow Distillery. These releases will bear age statements that will progressively increase over the coming years.

"The smooth and fruity base of our double distilled style is accentuated when matured in bourbon and ruby port casks, adding layers of dark fruits, summer berries and vanilla. The idea behind making this a progressively aged, batched expression is so that fans can join us on the journey as the expression continues to evolve and take on further nuances as it matures."
