Three New Limited Annual Releases with all-new Sherry Cask Matured

We're proud to introduce the latest editions to our annual Glasgow 1770 Single Malts, with Batch 2 of Bourbon Cask Matured and Ruby Port Cask Finish single malts, alongside an entirely new Sherry Cask Matured expression.

Designed as annual limited releases that showcase our favourite combinations of whisky production style and cask maturation, each bottling carries an age statement and is released at natural colour, non-chill filtered and at batch strength. The collection sits between our core Glasgow 1770 Signature Range and experimental Small Batch Series, offering our customers a deeper exploration into our house style through carefully selected cask pairings.

Glasgow 1770 Bourbon Cask Matured

Returning for its second year, Glasgow 1770 Bourbon Cask Matured is an 8 Year Old single malt scotch whisky marrying together equal proportions of our peated and unpeated double distilled spirit. Matured exclusively in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, it celebrates the tropical, fruit-forward character at the heart of our spirit, delivering notes of rich vanilla, floral honey, citrus, shortbread and gentle sweet smoke.

Glasgow 1770 Ruby Port Cask Finish 

Glasgow 1770 Ruby Port Cask Finish also returns for its second annual release following a sell-out debut in 2025. Now aged seven years old, the whisky has spent almost four years finishing in Ruby Port hogsheads after an initial maturation in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels. The extended finish builds layers of ripe summer berries, dark cherries and rich vanilla onto our naturally fruity unpeated single malt.

Glasgow 1770 Sherry Cask Matured 

Completing the trio is Glasgow 1770 Sherry Cask Matured, a brand new annual release created in collaboration with renowned Spanish sherry producer Ximénez-Spínola. The whisky combines two of our signature style whiskies with two different styles of sherry cask, marrying unpeated single malt finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry with peated single malt matured in Medium Sherry casks.

The result is a richly layered whisky balancing sweet sherry influence with elegant peat smoke, revealing notes of cedarwood, candied orange peel, dark fruits, ground coffee and lingering sweet smoke.
