There's something special about a whisky that captures not just a place, but a moment - a meeting of cultures, craft and collaboration. This single cask bottling does exactly that, bringing a little bit of Glasgow to the United States in a truly unique and limited release.

A Delmonico's & K&L Collaboration

Created exclusively for the US market, this cask strength peated single malt is the result of a carefully crafted partnership with two iconic names in American food and drink: Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian in Las Vegas and K&L Wine Merchants, with locations in California and New York. Together, we set out to create a whisky that unites bold Scottish distilling heritage with the richness and indulgence of American dining culture.

From American Oak to PX Sherry

The whisky began its life maturing for four and a half years in Virgin American White Oak, developing structure, spice and a foundation of sweetness. This initial maturation imparts bold vanilla notes, toasted oak character and a robust backbone - perfectly suited to carry the intensity of peat smoke.

From there, for a secondary maturation, the whisky was transferred into a Pedro Ximénex sherry cask sourced from the highly regarded Ximénez-Spinola bodega in Jerez, Spain, where it rested for a further 16 months. This finishing period adds remarkable depth, layering rich sweetness, dark fruity complexity, and an almost decadent character.

Bottled at a cask strength of 60.1% ABV, this whisky delivers an unfiltered and full-bodied experience. On the nose, you'll find an inviting combination of smoky barbecue aromas, intertwined with raisins, figs and molasses. The palate opens with bold peat smoke, quickly followed by dark fruits, tobacco leaf, and a deep, honeyed sweetness that beautifully balances the intensity. There's a richness here that evolves with every sip - a whisky equally suited to slow contemplation or pairing with a perfectly cooked steak.
