Sebb’s x Nauticus Takeover Recap
Friday 08th May 2026A Night to Remember
Monday the 4th of May, we had the pleasure of bringing a little slice of Glasgow’s drinks culture to Leith, as Sebb’s took over Nauticus for a one‑night‑only collaboration, and what a night it was!
Ahead of the event, lots of excitement was built by coverage from the likes of The Herald, Dram Scotland, SLTN and Foodie Explorers. The reality on the night more than lived up to expectations as the energy buzzed through the bar from the moment the doors opened, welcoming a packed crowd keen to get stuck into the amazing featured cocktails.
Cocktails, Craic and Collaboration
The drinks stole the show. Built around Glasgow Distillery spirits, the menu delivered expertly balanced cocktails and whisky highballs that were approachable, flavour‑led and dangerously drinkable.
A quick quote from our Business Development Manager, Fraser -
“The cocktails were almost too good.” which we think summarises the night perfectly!
Paired with Dogstar’s snacks, live music and Nauticus’ already brilliant atmosphere, the takeover felt relaxed, celebratory and genuinely fun. It wasn’t just a guest shift; it was a true crossover of Glasgow and Edinburgh drinks cultures, with both teams working seamlessly behind the scenes and on the bar.

A Big Moment for the Team
The night was especially significant internally, as this marked Fraser’s first activation since joining us in November. Taking part in such a high‑profile, well‑attended event and smashing it made the evening even sweeter.
Bringing together Sebb’s, Nauticus and Glasgow Distillery, the takeover showcased everything we love about the Scottish drinks scene: collaboration over competition, a focus on quality, and a shared desire to give guests a great night out.
What’s Next?
If the atmosphere, feedback and empty glasses were anything to go by, this won’t be the last time you see us stepping outside Glasgow. Huge thanks to the Nauticus team, Sebb's, Dogstar and everyone who came down on the night, and of course, Fraser, for a first activation that couldn’t have gone better.
Here’s to more nights like it!
Thanks to SLTN for the images.
