A classic with a kick
Known in France as a Soixante Quinze, this cocktail is built upon the original 'Champagne Cup' which can be dated back to the early 19th Century. Made famous by The Savoy Cocktail Book, the French 75 can be spotted in the 1942 film Casablanca when it is orderd by Rick's spurned flame, Yvonne.

35ml Makar Old Tom Gin
15ml Lemon Juice
10ml Sugar Syrup
Top with Champagne
One Maraschino Cherry

How we make it
Pour 35ml of Makar Old Tom Gin, 15ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 10ml of sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker
Fill with cubed ice and shake well until contents are cold
Strain into a chilled flute and top up with Champagne
Garnish with a maraschino cherry
