Introducing the latest additions to our Glasgow 1770 Small Batch Series

Today we're once again broadening our range of Glasgow 1770 Small Batch Series with two new releases. This duo of bottlings brings the second batch of a firm fan favourite, Tokaji Cask Finish using our unpeated single malt alongside a brand new release, a lightly peated Cognac Cask Finish.

Glasgow 1770 Tokaji Cask Finish - Unpeated 54.8% ABV

The Glasgow 1770 Tokaji Cask Finish release is a six year old bottling, created from four casks with initial maturation within first fill ex-bourbon barrels for a minimum of 3 years and 4 months before an extended finishing period within Hungarian Tokaji sweet wine casks for 3 years and 6 months.

Glasgow 1770 Cognac Cask Finish - Lightly Peated 58% ABV

The Glasgow 1770 Cognac Cask Finish release is also a six year old bottling, created by marrying five casks together, two of which held our peated single malt, with three holding our unpeated single malt. The whisky within these casks spent over three years within first fill ex-bourbon barrels before a long 3 year and 4 month second maturation within French Cognac casks.
