Glasgow Public Form 1770 Whisky Tasting Notes

Recently, we had the first public tasting of our upcoming 1770 Glasgow Single Malt Scotch Whisky. To form our Official Tasting Notes, we asked the people of Glasgow to come to Glasgow Distillery and help us define exactly how 1770 is to the nose, the palette and how it finishes.

Normally, this would be the job of our Head Distiller, but we want to do things a little differently.

The response was brilliant, and our great volunteers have helped us create a fantastic set of 1770 Glasgow Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes, which will be revealed soon.

Here are some of the images from the evening, a big thank you to each of our local tasting volunteers who provided us with such positive and helpful feedback. To see more from the evening, visit our 1770 Whisky Facebook page.

The ballot for 1770 is counting down to the 3rd June. If you haven't entered it yet, now is the time to do so. If you're successful, you'll have the opportunity to purchase the first Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Glasgow's first independent single malt distillery since 1902.

Enter the ballot now by visiting the 1770 Whisky page.

Good luck!
