A limited edition release of our smoky single malt, Glasgow 1770 Peated, presented at a natural cask strength. For Batch 02, we’ve selected three exemplary casks that showcase our Peated style in all its glory – rich, smoky, BBQ-forward. The whisky within these three casks has initially been matured in virgin American white oak barrels before a finishing period within Spanish Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads.
These three casks resulted in only 1000 bottles at a natural strength of 60.7% ABV.

The Experience
Tasting Notes
Nose
On the nose, rich smoky BBQ sauce, tobacco leaf and opulent smoked Iberico ham, opening up to ripe juicy blackberries and sticky poached plums.
Palate
On the palate, sweet BBQ smoke with grilled pineapple and banana lead to slow roasted coffee beans, dried apricot and flamed orange zest.
Finish
The finish is long and rich with lasting notes of sweet tobacco, dark chocolate, juicy raisins and sultanas, with hints of toasted oak shavings.
